Unredeemer is a five-piece death/groove metal band from Southern Finland, founded in 2019. Groove metal rhythms meet darker melodic and death metal parts, and the newer songs lean toward blackened thrash.

Reject redemption. Unredeem yourself.

The lyrics turn the religious idea of redemption around: nobody absolves you, and your life is your own responsibility. Vocalist Saša Pul writes in English and Croatian and delivers it from behind a coffin-shaped lectern, hands stained with the blood of the sins we all carry.

The lectern carries the band's Emblem, drawn from the cover of the first EP, 4-19-23: a real installation of a deer skull mounted on a steel plate. The same mark is scarified into Saša's forearm.

Unredeemer has shared stages with In Flames, Heaven Shall Burn, Destruction, Combichrist and Cryptopsy. At Vantaa's Shadow Room in 2022, a hook suspension performance ran through the entire set. The debut album, Word Become Flesh (2022), was almost entirely DIY, from the artwork to publishing and promotion.
